Early intervention has been found to reduce the extent of the motor handicap and improve the functional outcome for children affected by Cerebral Palsy. Early visual, auditory, and tactile stimulation can significantly lower the functional problems. If your child has a developmental delay, they should be enrolled into an early infant stimulation and intervention program.
Through special education children are guided to achieve holistic education and everyday living activities. Games, music, drawing, painting and many such creative activities are blended in the joyful learning process. The pre-school classes are designed to offer children an optimal learning experience.
At our center your child's needs are met by the combined attention of a team of professionals including; Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist and a Rehab Engineer. Referrals are made to specific medical professionals as needed.
Adaptive devices/ aids are provided in the Assistive Technology Lab to train and accommodate children for computer access and to enhance cognitive/communication skills. Eligible children are individually evaluated by an Engineer specialized in Assistive Technology. Specific assistive devices are identified and provided for training to help them participate in the class room activities independently.
